ABOUT ME
Today’s “Queen” of Qanon, Hasmik Leyloyan, is considered the innovator of classical school of Armenian Qanon, not only thanks to her new performing styles, but also for bringing in recitals in the history of Qanon (1974), by brilliantly performing folk, as well as classical complex compositions. Since 70’ies Hasmik Leyloyan is actively participating in different concerts. For many years she has been the soloist of Armenian State Philharmonic Society, later the soloist of Symphonic-Estrade Orchestra of Armenian National Radio.
On September 2 Hasmik Leyloyan with Ara Gevorgyan performed in the concert devoted to Nagorno Karabakh’s independence. By the Symphonic Orchestra of A. Spendiaryan opera theater of Armenia accomplishment, conductor K. Durgaryan . Pedro Euastache, Konstantin Moskovich, Roni Barak, Pedros Kirkorov and other outstanding musicians took part in it.

Moscow Kremlin’s Grand Concert
On May 28 in the Moscow Kremlin’s Grand Concert Hall occurded Ara Gevorgyan concert, conducted by maestro K. Durgaryan and Symphonic Orchestra of Moscow Philarmony. Where participated Hasmik Leyloyan (who is the qanon solo player of Ara Gevorgyan all works), Pedro Euastache, Konstantin Moskovich, Roni Barak and other outstanding musicians.

Abu Dhabi festival
In Abu Dhabi on March 20-April 7 took place International Abu Dhabi festival devoted Frederic Chopin’s 200 anniversary. The festival organized by the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Her Excellency Hoda Al Khamis Kanoo the founder and artistic director of Abu Dhabi festival. The invitation was done by Hiba Al Kawas (Member of the National Committee of UNESCO for the Sciences, Education and Culture, Opera singer and composer).
Hasmik Leyloyan performed two part solo concert, by her “Camerton” Chamber Music Ensemble accomplishment. The works of F. Chopin, G. Gershwin, S. Joplin, N. Paganini, A. Khatchaturyan, A. Spendiaryan, Ch.Gounod etc. were been performing by her.

Yerevan the National musical awards
On March 26 took place in Yerevan the National musical awards where Hasmik Leyloyan for introducing in high level Armenian national music in the foreign countries, won a Special prize.
